The promotion of documentary „Wonder Women of Wine“ by Australian director and producer Isabella Savic took place at the residence of Australian ambassador in Serbia H.E. Julia Feeney on Thursday, June the 7th. Numerous representatives of diplomatic crops, filmmakers, winemakers and other notable guests were able to see the trailer of the film with some of the most eye-catching scenes. The ambassador and the author stressed out the importance of this film for the promotion of remarkable women, beautiful nature and cultural and historical heritage of Serbia worldwide. Isabella Savic expressed her gratitude to numerous cast and crew who took part in filming of “Wonder Women of Wine”. This documentary tells a story about women winemakers in Serbia who are also owners of classy wineries. The main plot is followed with exciting stories about thousands of years old history of winemaking in Serbia, famous historical Serbian women and other interesting topics. Parts of the film are featured in the best tradition of documentary filmmaking.

“Wonder Women of Wine” are filmed and titled in English and Serbian. This documentary should be broadcasted on popular national broadcaster’s internet and cable TV networks worldwide. The audience will be able to find out more details just before the premiere, says the author. This is her fourth documentary in English dedicated to Serbia and its people, nature, culture, history and its economic and touristic potential. Her previous films “Taste of Serbia“, „Celebrating Serbia“ and „Moving Hearts“ were awarded and included in official selections of noticable film festivals such as Montecatini International Short Film Festival (Montecatini, Italy), The Film, Art & Tourism Festival „Filmat“ (Warszawa, Poland), International Documentary Festival „Zlatna Buklija“ (Velika Plana, Serbia), etc. It’s interesting that Isabella’s documentary Moving Hearts was filmed for charity and telled the story about catastrophic floods in Serbia in 2014.

New documentary by Isabella Savic „Wonder Women of Wine“ is filmed in a production of King Pepe Films and Flywine Productions with the support of Australian Embassy in Serbia and with the blessing of Serbian Orthodox bishop of Kruševac Diocese David Perović. Isabella wrote the film script together with Irish writer Janet Lee Chapman.
